The Oak Lodge is a converted farmhouse set in its own grounds with panoramic sea and country views. It boasts a comfortable bar, restaurant, games room and a function room which is available for private hire. Outside is a beautiful patio terrace which is perfect for enjoying a glass of chilled wine whilst watching the sun set at the end of a busy day. Homemade bar snacks, meals and desserts are available all day. Sky TV is also available either in the games room or via the 50 inch TV in the function room. | |

The Oak Lodge is on the edge of the delightful old fishing village of Moelfre, which lies on the East Coast of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in North West Wales. Moelfre is famous the world over for its maritime heritage, as it was where the Royal Charter sank in a terrible storm in 1859, on its return voyage from Australia. Moelfre has a working RNLI lifeboat station which boasts that one of its former crew, Dic Evans, is the only Coxwain to have won 2 gold medals for bravery, the maritime equivalent of a Victoria Cross. Moelfre and its locale has both pebble and sandy beaches and is an idyllic setting for a quiet, relaxing break. |

By Car: - Moelfre is 17.5 km (11 miles) along the A5025, from either of the 2 bridges that cross the Menai Straits onto Anglesey. - Drive through Pentraeth and Benllech, past the small hamlet of Llanallgo. - Turn right at the roundabout and the Oak Lodge Inn is 300 metres down on the left-hand side of the road. |

We operate a strict no smoking policy and that all rooms are fitted with highly sensitive heat and smoke detectors. Should anyone attempt to smoke in their room or tamper with these detectors this will trigger the fire alarm system, the responsible parties will be asked to vacate the premises immediately, where no refunds will be given. | |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Baby cots are not available. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free Private parking is possible on site.
