		Quick description
		The Carlton House is a friendly, family-run hotel just 3 minutes drive from Dundee City centre. Many of the rooms have scenic views of the River Tay and Fife Hills beyond. We are close to many areas of interest such as the award-winning Verdant Works Heritage Museum, which is maintained in full working order and Captain Scotts famous polar exploration ship, RRS Discovery. There are also many Castles and Scottish Glens to visit in the surrounding areas of Angus and Perthshire. We are also within easy reach of many championship golf courses, including the famous St. Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links, home of The Open Championship 2007.

		Please note that for bookings of 3 nights or more, the hotel will charge a deposit of 1 night at the time of the booking.

		Cancellation policy
		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
