The Abbots Mead Hotel is a family-run grade 2 Georgian townhouse, situated in the heart of Shrewsbury town centre. The hotel offers 16 en suite rooms, a relaxing bar and lounge area, private car parking. Situated close to the River Severn within a stones throw from some great restaurants which this delightful market town has to offer. With us, you will enjoy the accommodation only found in a privately family-run hotel of this class. All our visitors are made welcome by the hosts: Barry, Eileen and Andrew Bailey. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
