By Air: The hotel is approximately 10 miles (16 km) from Manchester Airport. A direct train runs regularly from the airport to Manchesters main train station, Piccadilly, which is just 100 metres from the hotel. By Train: The Place Hotel is located within 100 metres of Manchesters main train station, Piccadilly. By Car (from the North): - From the M66, continue south onto the M60. - Leave the M60 at junction 20 onto the A664. - Follow the signs into the city centre. - At the large crossroads, take a left down Queens Road (A6010) to the next junction. - Turn right onto the A62. - Follow the A62 on until the end of the road. - Turn left onto Great Ancoats Street. - Continue on this road passing through 2 sets of traffic lights. - After the second set of traffic lights, take the first right turning onto Ducie Street. - Stay on the left-hand side for 500 metres and you will see the hotel. By Car (from the East): - From the M67 continue on until the Denton roundabout. - Go straight across onto the A57 and follow this road all the way into Manchester. - The A57 then becomes London Road. By Car (from the South): - Follow the M56 (South) until the road ends and carry on until you reach a major roundabout. - Take the 3rd exit onto the slip road, joining Mancunian Way. - Follow the slip road until it ends. - Turn left. This brings you onto London Road. By Car (from the West): - From the M61/62 exit onto the M602. - Continue on this road until it becomes the Mancunian Way flyover. - Take the exit signposted Belle Vue. - Follow the slip road until the end. Turn left onto London Road.
