Corstorphine is on the main A8 tourist route into the capital, and 2 miles (ca 3.2km) from both Edinburgh Airport and City Centre. Lying in its own grounds of half an acre (ca 2000m²) with Victorian walled gardens, which are a delight to rest and relax in during the Summer months, the House forms a true haven of peace and tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of its surroundings. There is ample private parking within the grounds. Corstorphine House has been recently renovated to bring out the original features of this beautiful Victorian Villa, which has some of the most ornate cornices in this historic area of Corstorphine, which was once to doorway to City of Edinburgh. Corstorphine has been listed as one of the top 5 most desirable areas of Edinburgh. With a long established reputation for warm Scottish hospitality, reflected in the much-coveted RAC Warm Welcome Award, The Corstorphine House provides substantial cooked Scottish breakfasts, with Continental, and vegetarian as alternatives, and special diets catered for as required.
