Situated in the cosy Highland village of Newtonmore, the hotel is over 100 years old and is very much in keeping with the local area. The family-run Balavil Hotel extends a warm Highland welcome to all guests. The interior consists of open fires and a wood panelled bar which help create the warm and friendly Scottish atmosphere. The Balavil offers comfortable en suite rooms which are well decorated to create a home from home atmosphere.

		From Inverness Airport: - At 1st 2 roundabouts take the 2nd exit (signposted Aberdeen, Inverness, A96). - At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A96 (signposted Inverness). - At next 2 roundabouts take the 2nd exit (signposted Inverness A96). - At Raigmore roundabout take the 1st exit, then merge onto the A9 (signposted Perth), entering Inverness. (Slochd Summit: 1,328feet/405metres). - Branch left (signposted Kingussie, Newtonmore), then at T-junction turn right onto the A86 (signposted Kingussie). - Entering Kingussie and continue onto Main Street (A86) entering Newtonmore.

		Cancellation policy
		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. Baby cots are not available. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
