		Guests can choose to stay in rooms with brightly decorated walls or those more subtly styled. Each has an excellent bathroom with a free standing bath. 		Usher Gallery (800 metres / 0.5 miles) - the fine art collections feature paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture dating from the 17th century to the present day. Important clocks, watches, porcelain, enamels, miniatures and silver are all on display. Lincoln Castle (1.4 km / 0.9 miles) - a castle of national importance, this magnificent structure was started in 1068 by William the Conqueror. It is now home to the 780 year old Magna Carta. Museum of Lincolnshire Life (1.7 km / 1.1 miles) - The Museum of Lincolnshire Life is the largest and most exciting Social History Museum in the County. Occupying a listed barracks, a major new redevelopment at the museum tells the story of the Regiment through interactive displays, computers, videos and an audio tour.

		By train: From Lincoln Central (1 km / 0.6 miles): - Exit the station onto St. Marys Street. - Cross the road and bear left onto Normal Street. - Turn left onto Broadgate and head over the bridge. - Turn right onto Monks Road. - Look out for the hotel once you have passed Vine Street on your left and St Hugh Street on your right.
