As our hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the terminal entrance, transfers are not required. Trolleys are provided at the hotel car parks. However, transfers can be arranged in advance for disabled guests. The hotel offers a variety of function suites that cater for up to 150 people. Some of our ground floor bedrooms are equipped with disabled facilities and have wheelchair access. The restaurants and bars are on the ground level and have no steps, allowing easy access for disabled guests. Teesside leisure and shopping complex, with its various malls, multi cinema, bowling arena, bars, nightclub and eateries is found a few minutes drive from the hotel. |

We offer single, double, twin and family bedrooms. Bedrooms are newly refurbished, many with views over the terminal runways. Each has en suite facilities with a bath and shower, a remote control colour TV, direct dial telephone, 24 hour porterage, tea/coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. |

The Spa Hotel has 2 restaurants, The Brasserie and Cafe Martyn. The Brasserie offers a comfortable area to unwind, serving a wide variety of beers and wines. Traditional bar food and snacks are served at lunchtime and in the evening within informal, relaxed surroundings. By Car from the South: - Follow the M1, A1 (M), and A1 (north) for Leeds and Wetherby. - Stay on the A1(M) / A1 until junction 57 then exit north east onto the A66 (M) signposted Darlington and Teesside. - Stay on the A66 (M) / A66 until you reach the A67 then exit east for the airport. - Our hotel is situated within the grounds of Durham Tees Valley Airport (previously Teesside International). - At the airport entrance roundabout take the exit marked All other traffic. - Drive past Jackson Motor Homes to your left and the International Fire Training Centre (2 buildings) on your right. - Take the next left turning, follow this road straight ahead for 150 yards and we are situated on the left hand side. From the North: - Follow the A1/ A1(M) south for Newcastle and Scotch Corner. - Stay on the A1(M) / A1 until junction 59 then exit south onto the A167 signposted Darlington. - Stay on the A167 until you reach the A1150 then exit east for Teesside. - Stay on the A1150 until you reach the A66 then exit south for “Scotch Corner”. - Stay on the A66 until you reach the A67 then exit east for the airport. - Follow directions as above. By Train: - Take a train to Darlington Railway Station. - From here, taxis or a direct bus are available. - The route operated by the Airport Skyexpress 737 runs approximately every half hour and travels directly from the railway station to the airport and terminal. By Bus: - Take a coach to either Darlington or Middlesbrough Bus Station. - From either station, local buses operate to Durham Tees Valley Airport. Parking: Upon arrival report directly to reception to check-in your car. You will be directed to a reserved car parking space within one of 3 car parking areas. Our reception is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are also floodlit and have CCTV. The car park is regularly patrolled by our staff, providing the hotel with high security. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3. There is no capacity for cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 4.95 per person. Parking: Public parking is possible on site and costs GBP 4.00 per day. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges. |
