Walk around Pendennis Castle on the headland and then take the ferry to St Mawes to see the sister fortification, commissioned by Henry VIII to defend Carrick Roads against foreign invasions. |

By Car: - Follow the signs from the A30 towards Falmouth. - Turn right at Hillhead roundabout. - Go straight over 2 mini roundabouts. - After one mile turn left into Mongleath Road. By Train: Take the train to Truro and change here for the Falmouth branch line. Penmere Halt is half a mile down the road from us. Please let the hotel know what time you will be arriving at Penmere Halt and the hotel can arrange a taxi to pick you up. |
