You could also visit Culloden Battlefield and the Culloden Moor & Visitors Centre. Culloden was the scene of the last major battle fought on mainland Britain when, on 16 April 1746, the Jacobite forces, led by Bonnie Prince Charlie, were defeated by the British. |
