The Function Room is available for smaller occasions; seminars, board meetings or private and more intimate parties with seating of up to 18 depending on the requirements. All of our doubles and twins are comfortably furnished and are ensuite with either a bath our a shower and have iron and ironing boards, tea/coffee making facilities and televisions. Royalist feature room Has been refurbished to a very high standard and has period features to reflect the hotel. The room has a striking sleigh bed, good looking ensuit shower room, wide screen television, DVD, CD player which adds allure to the fantastic rate. Four Poster Feature Room Has been refurbished to a very high standard and has historical features. The room has a handsome four poster bed, attractive bath room with a charming bath (For Two) and a superb 42 inch digital plasma T.V. which adds allure to the fantastic rate. |

The restaurant serves the best English and Continental food, fine wine and traditional ales. The Red Lion can cater for small weddings and private functions of up to fifty people, or small conferences with up to ten delegates. The Restaurant is of withstanding quality on two distinct levels and capable of seperation if required. The restaurant serves the best English and Continental cuisine, and the hotel offers facilities for small private functions and conferences. The Red Lion is an appropriately tawny colour to suit the noun, if not the adjective, in its name. A former coaching inn, it has old oak decoration and stone chimneys.
