		Hotel information
		A Victorian Hotel built between 1865 and 1901 of Scottish granite and sandstone. It stands as a landmark on the North Pier overlooking the town of Oban and Oban Bay, to the Isles of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore and the Mountains of Morven.

		Room information
		Many of our bedrooms have sea views and others have views of the wooded hillside. All rooms are bright and airy; this is enhanced by the decor. Many bedrooms have been tastefully refurbished to a very high standard, however all bedrooms are modern and comfortable and equipped with all the modern facilities to help make your stay more enjoyable.

		Food & beverage
		The Alba restaurant has recently been refurbished, but has managed to keep its relaxed atmosphere and Victorian charm. It offers a table dhôte menu. Bar food is available in the lounge bar and Alba bar.

		Area information
		Oban is known as “The Gateway to the Highlands” is a picturesque port on the west coast of Scotland. Oban was a fishing village but is now one of Scotlands most popular tourist destinations. It is the ideal port from which to visit the islands. It has many attractions for the visitor including the Oban Distillery which was built by Hugh Stevenson in 1794. The sunsets over Oban Bay are quite breathtaking in their splendor.

		Travel information
		From Glasgow: - Take the M8 westbound and continue onto the A82 for Loch Lomond and Crianlarich. - Continue onto the A85, passing Loch Awe, for Oban.

		Car Parking is free for limited number of guests. Guide dogs are the only pets allowed. Children under 5 are free with two paying adults.

		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Public parking is possible on site and costs GBP 0.60 per hour. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
