Travelling north-east on the a12, proceed towards Ipswich town centre at the a12/a14 interchange roundabout. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights onto the a1071. Continue over the next roundabout and you will enter Hintlesham village after about two miles. The entrance to the Hall is just past the church on the right-hand side. Travelling south-east on the A14, take the Great Blakenham exit (B1113) and turn right towards Sproughton. Continue straight on and through Sproughton. At the next roundabout turn right onto the A1071 and enter Hintlesham as above. | |

The 16th century building is distinguished by its Georgian additions, most notably the famous facade, and by earlier Stuart interior embellishments. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel. The accent is on friendly professionalism and the list of available activities is substantial, although the heart of Hintlesham Hall is the opportunity simply to relax and perhaps wander around the grounds or countryside before enjoying chefs latest menus and depleting our award winning wine cellar. Health, beauty and other specialist treatments, a newly equipped gym and helpful instructors now compliment the pool (in season) which is small but perfectly formed. We operate a dress code in our restaurant at dinner, gentleman are required to wear a tailored jacket, ladies always know best. Well behaved dogs can be accommodated in certain rooms at no additional charge, though dogs must not be left unattended at any time. |
