From Peterborough and Huntingdon follow the a1 north and take the a606 (signposted Rutland Water) to Whitwell. The nearest mainline rail station is Peterborough, twenty-five minutes by taxi from Whitwell. There is a local station at Oakham, ten minutes away by taxi. | |
