The hotel is situated approximately 1.6 km (1 mile) straight from the end of the M50 motorway. By Car: - At the end of the M50, follow signs to the A40 Monmouth. - At the roundabout with the BP petrol station (3rd from the M50), take the immediate turning after the petrol station and before the A40 (you will see a small sign to Orles Barn). - Around 90 metres from junction on the left is Orles Barn car park. This beautiful property is full of charm, character and wonderful original features, with oak-beamed bedrooms and an AA Dinner Award-winning restaurant serving locally sourced, delicious seasonal food. Orles Barn was recently reviewed by Paddy Burt in the Daily Telegraph, where she stated that the menu was appealingly straightforward and that Orles Barn was unpretentious. You can experience both of these things during your stay, as well as the south-facing, acre-long garden. Run by a husband and wife team, the hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the Wye Valley. |
