		We are situated on the edge of the village of Carno alongside the a470, 12 miles from Newtown and 17 miles from Machynlleth. If coming from the North or West, we are on the right, just before you leave the village. If coming from the South or East, we are on the left, 150 yards after the Carno sign.

		Quick description
		Situated in the heart of beautiful Mid-Wales between Newtown and Machynlleth. This 17th century Inn offers a warm welcome to travelers and locals alike. Peter & Jenny Canning and their staff look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful, yet little known, part of Wales. We have three bars and offer a wide selection of beers, lagers, and ciders as well as a varied range of quality home cooked meals to cater all tastes. All of our letting rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard with spacious en-suite shower rooms throughout.

		Cancellation policy
		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed.
