| THE RESTAURANT Our Restaurant occupies a major part of the original Principle house built in the 17th century. The 60 cover oak-beamed restaurant, lit by candle light in the evenings, retains many of its original features. Where possible, locally produced foods are used in all of our dishes. Diners can choose from a varied range of English and French cuisine, which is complemented by a wine list of fifty carefully, selected wines. THE BAR Boasting one of the largest walk-in fireplaces and open bread ovens, the bar has been carefully modernised to retain the traditional ‘Old Inn’ atmosphere. With its original oak beams, imposing fireplace and natural slate and wood floor, the bar offers a comfortable setting for a quiet drink and a wide range of fireside meals. Beer garden and extensive landscaped grounds are open all to guests. WEDDINGS Picturesque grounds and luxury accommodation create an idyllic venue for wedding receptions and private functions. The hotel is set in 3 and a half acres of landscaped gardens and has now completed 500,000 GBP upgrade programme. |

| Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
