By Car: - Annies Guest House is on the A194 (Beach Road) leading from South Shields town centre to the coast. - The A194 is signposted just before you reach Gateshead and Newcastle (Northbound) on all major routes into the North East. - Southbound, take the A19 Tyne Tunnel and follow the A194 (Beach Road). From South Shields Bus Station: Head east onto King Street, the main shopping area. At the end of the street there is a mini- roundabout. Turn right here then take your first left onto Beach Road. By Metro (train): From Sunderland, Newcastle city centre and Newcastle airport: Take the South Shields (yellow) Metro line east to the South Shields stop.
