The Roxburghe was converted by its owners, the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe, into one of Scotlands finest country house hotels, and have established the Roxburghe Golf Course as the 5th top inland golf course in Scotland. Set amongst mature woodland and rolling parkland on the banks of the River Teviot, this 22 bedroom hotel (some of which are four poster) were all individually designed by the Duchess herself. With its warm and friendly atmosphere, the Dining Room reflects the hotels position at the source of some of the finest fish, meat and game - salmon and trout from the waters of the Tweed, or grouse, pheasant and venison from the Estate - complimented with wines from the Dukes own cellar. Fine whiskys are served in the Library Bar, with its log fire and leather bound books and the Drawing Room is the perfect place to relax. There are a variety of leisure facilities, including the Health and Beauty Suite, the Roxburghe Championship Golf Course, Shooting, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Fly Fishing, etc. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
